I'm Not Saying This As A My Chemical Romance Fan

Thu Jan 29, 2009, 3:18 AM
  • Mood: Hostile
  • Listening to: Murder Was The Case They Gave Me - LeATHERMOUTH
  • Reading: LeATHERMOUTH lyrics
  • Watching: My footage from yesterdays shoot
  • Playing: The World Ends With You
  • Eating: Hula Hoops
  • Drinking: Apple Juice
I just wanted to put that as a disclamer on this before I carry on!(LOL MCR joke!)

I recently purchased LeATHERMOUTHs debut album XØ...hence the disclaimer above! I'm a huge fan of Hardcore and Hardcore Punk. Infact My Chemical Romance is a bit out of my normal music tastes. Which is what make them my favourite band.

Anyway back to LeATHERMOUTH. The album arrived yeaterday morning from Amazon, even though I'd gone for supersaver delivery coz I'm tight for cash at the moment. I got home last night after college and straight away went to listen to it. I didn't think that it would be that gutteral and raw and powerful, I mean with a vocalist who is from a Punk/Rock group you just don't expect it at all. I swear to god that their DemOH wasn't this raw!

And when I'd finished the album all I could think was, "This is rage and haterid and unbeleiveing in yourself and your country." I forgot about what Frank Iero stands for in MCR, Self Belief, happiness, truth and comradeship. All I could feel was this overwhelming feeling of his dissapointment in America and all the bad things that have ever happened to him in his life that he couldn't write about in any MCR song.

I LOVE this album. Franks voice is amazing, the lyrics are fantastic and I just can't stop fucking listening to it! I can't pick a favourite song so don't ask me to, there are no favourite songs and it would be wrong to choose one.

Anyway more art up soon.

"Nobody is looking out for you, nothing is getting any better..."

LØATHE, HATE, RAT, THReAT, MAUL........LeATHERMOUTH
